Flatbed and low-bed haulage.
Machinery, steel and oversize on an open deck. A flatbed can be crane-loaded from above and the load may overhang the deck edge; a curtain-sider, which has a rigid frame and roof, can do neither. For tracked plant and anything over height, the low-bed drops the deck to clear the bridges.

- Combination BDM at a wheelbase of 11.1 m or more. List I, 1:1:3.
