Do I need a forklift at my end?
Not if it goes on a baby crane. Those units carry their own mounted crane and load and unload themselves. Tell us the weight and how far in from the lorry it has to land — a crane’s capacity drops sharply the further out the boom goes, so both numbers decide it.
What can you carry?
Palletised and general cargo on the curtain-sider. Machinery, steel and long products on the flatbed. Building materials and small plant on the dropside. Anything that has to be lifted off at the far end goes on the baby crane, and a lift that is the job in itself goes to the mobile or the crawler crane.
